There are no laws restricting discriminating slurs

To the Editor:

After reading one letter writer's offensive letters week after week, I felt the need to respond. This writer contributed the letter "America's losing freedom in incremental pieces" from the Feb. 11 edition of The Post.

So you think that what would make this country better is no unemployment benefits and the ability to use slurs when referring to minorities and gays? This is your master plan?

I must have missed the law restricting your ability to call people names. Please point it out to me in your next misguided letter. And regarding your one true statement that not everyone has the same intelligence - your letter clearly proves this point.
