To the Editor:

The Chippewa Local Schools has a renewal of a 1 percent earned income tax on the ballot for March 6. It is critical that we pass this renewal issue. As you know, all businesses need money to fund operations, and school districts are no exception. We need every penny of the $1.6 million that this issue will generate. The board of education has not asked for any new money and they pledge to live within their budget. Keep our school system excellent! Vote yes on March 6.
