Santa's Own

Santa’s Own, a high-end manufacturer of artificial Christmas trees, has announced plans to bring jobs back to Brunswick.

BRUNSWICK – Santa’s Own, a high-end manufacturer and supplier for the holiday market, has announced plans to move part of its manufacturing and assembly work from China to its Brunswick facility.

The company is best known for its wide variety of realistic, permanent Christmas trees sold exclusively to independent, specialty retailers.

Brian Love, company president, said some stateside product assembly has already begun.

“We are excited about employing more local people and bringing the full manufacturing process to the area as early as next year,” he said. “Our intent is to grow our business each year and also to promote efficiency by manufacturing many of our product components ourselves,” Love said.

The first tree to be assembled in the U.S. is one of Santa’s Own newest offerings, the Growing Tree, which can extend from a 7-and-a-half foot height up to 10 feet. The trees being assembled in the U.S. will exclusively feature Stay-Lit lighting, designed to maintain connectivity in the string even if a bulb should burn out.

Santa’s Own, a part of ATP Leisure, LLC, also sells other specialty holiday products, including decorative wreaths, garlands and lighted outdoor decor.
