Brunswick sophomore guard Ryan Badowski, who is well on his way to being perhaps the best guard in Brunswick history, has been named a first-team Post All-Star for the 2011-12 boys basketball season. Badowski averaged a team-best 15.6 points in his second varsity season. He also averaged just under three assists per game against 2.5 turnovers. He shot 32 percent from 3-point range and 80.2 percent from the foul line. Following the season, Badowski was named first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference in the talent-rich Valley Division. He was also second-team All-Northeast Ohio Inland District and received an honorable mention on the Division I All-Ohio team.

Brunswick teammates Gabby Bulic and Cassi Bowen can add Post All-Stars to a list a postseason accolades. Bulic has been chosen as one of five first-team members from The Post's 14-school coverage area. Bowen has been named to the second team. The pair helped Brunswick to a 15-8 overall record this year and led Brunswick to the Medina Division I District championship game for the second consecutive year, the first time the Blue Devils have made back-to-back district finals since 1991-92.
