Hill Haven Farm & Greenhouse/Florist, located at 7842 Center Road in Valley City, has been growing beautiful plants and flowers since 1971. Their specialty is water garden plants, fish and supplies and they are also a full-service florist.

"There is something for everyone here," said Dianne Calta, president of the company. "We are a family-owned and operated business and everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable," she added.

Located on 25 acres in a country setting, the farm raises sheep and includes seven greenhouses along with the main shop. There is a wide variety of garden seeds and plants to choose from, including vegetables, flowers, herbs, perennials, hanging baskets and more. In the upcoming weeks, there will be small fruit plants like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and thornless blackberries.

Hill Haven will have their annual spring open house on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25, at which time you can view the large selection of plants and water garden supplies and take advantage of promotional spring sales.
