Littering on the playground needs to stop; no one likes it

To the Editor:

My name is Eris Foutz and I attend Sharon Elementary in Highland, Medina. In third grade, my class noted that there was a lot of trash on the playground. I don’t know who or why they littered, but I want it to stop. We like our Earth and want to keep it clean. I want you to please write an article on how littering affects our Earth and how we need to stop. No one likes littering and no one wants it to keep going. My mom says “If we clean up our mess, all day we’ll be blessed.” I can understand if you will not follow my advice and write the article, for I am only a fifth grader.

Sincerely,

Eris Foutz
