Xcel Gold Team

The second place Xcel Gold Team includes (front to back) Erilyn Asher, Ashlyn Cocklin, Allie Cocklin, Mackenzie Ward, Ava Sems, Claire McAfee and Anna Strzalka.

The gymnasts from Medina Gymnastics Academy travelled to West Virginia to compete in the Big Dog Meet benefitting the Wounded Warriors Project.

Finishing third as a team, the Xcel Silver Team gymnasts included Brooklyn Scott who placed second on vault, beam, and all around, and first on bars; Aubrey Hankins finished second on vault, beam, and all around, and first on bars; Zoey Norris placed third all around, second on vault and bars, and first on beam; Olivia Ott finished third on bars and floor; and Camille Porco placed third on vault and beam, and second on bars. Brianna DeBow also competed for the Silver Team.

Competing on the Xcel Gold Team, Ashlyn Cocklin finished third on vault, second on beam, and first on bars and all around; Claire McAfee placed second on bars and first on beam; Mackenzie Ward finished second on beam; and Allie Cocklin placed third on bars. Also competing on the Gold Team to help lead them to a second place finish were Anna Strzalka, Erilyn Asher, and Ava Sems.

The Xcel Platinum Team reigned victorious with a first place team finish. Morgan Rudert earned first place finishes on each event; Madison Lee placed second on bars and floor, and first on vault and all around; Rebecca Taylor finished third on bars, second on vault and all around, and first on beam; and Gwenneth Asher placed second on bars and beam, and first on vault and all around.

Sophie Akers-Novak competed at level 7 and finished third on vault, floor, and all around, and placed second on beam.
