Kenne commits to Kentucky

Highland High School senior Kaylie Kenne singed her letter of intent Nov. 14 to attend and run track for the University of Kentucky, where she received an athletic scholarship. A three-time state qualifier as a member of Highland’s Track and Cross Country Team, and named Athlete of the Year in both, Kaylie holds the school record for the 5K (18:02.90) and the 1600 (4:58.38). She boasts a 4.155 GPA and is a member of the Student Council, Tri-M and a Medina County Leadership Ball honoree. She is the daughter of Deric and Paula Kenne, of Sharon Township, and plans to major in Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky. Pictured with Kaylie are her parents and her brother, Aiden, a seventh-grader at Highland Middle School.
