Petek commits to Cedarville

Highland High School senior Joelle Petek signed her letter of intent to attend and play tennis at Cedarville University, where she received a partial athletic scholarship. Joelle is a four-year varsity letter winner and was named a three-time All-Conference American Winner, three-time Tri-way Invitational Winner, two-time First-Team All Medina County and Rookie of the Year. She boasts a 3.8 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Latin Club. She also serves as a peer leader at HHS. Joelle is pictured with her parents, Daniel and Diane Petek, of Granger Township.
