Medina County commissioners have ordered all county buildings closed to the general public until further notice.

MEDINA – In response to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and the stay-at-home order announced by Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton, which took effect at 11:59 p.m., March 23, Medina County commissioners have ordered all county buildings closed to the general public effective March 24.

The ODH's Stay-at-Home Order lists essential governmental functions, which include county government operations and those government employees who work for or support essential businesses and operations.

Several Medina County offices in the Administration Building on North Broadway Street in Medina are still working, but the public is encouraged to correspond and conduct business with them online or by phone or by mail or by drop boxes outside the building's entrance.
