Andrew Borisa

Andrew John Borisa, 74, passed away peacefully Aug. 11, 2019, in North Royalton.

Drew was born July 22, 1945, in Cleveland. Drew attended North Royalton High School and went onto own his own insurance and estate planning company in Berea. Drew was a man who would never be caught in a rain shower without an umbrella, always an eternal optimist. He will be remembered as the kind man who made you an elephant out of a crisp dollar bill when you met him, a very dry sense of humor, a helping hand and an easy smile. Drew was known as a gentleman and will be missed as a father, brother, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. He taught us, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return.” He was loved.

Drew loved his family most of all. He cherished every moment he had with his grandchildren, Andrew Oster, Corrine Borisa, Elena Vajner, Kendall Borisa and Bryson Borisa. They were the greatest joy in his life. He is survived by his children, Leslie (Bill) Vajner, Valerie Borisa, Natalie Borisa and AJ (Michelle) Borisa Jr.; and brother, Russ (Dale) Borisa.

Drew was proceeded in death by his father, Andrew Franklin; sister, Judy (Joe) Friedl; brother, Bill (Denise) Borisa.

Friends and family will be received at the Vajner residence Aug. 25th at 1 p.m. for a celebration of his life.

Busch Funeral and Crematory Services handled arrangements.
