Wildy Parker

Wildy H. Parker, 85, of Wadsworth and formerly of Doylestown, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 9, 2019, at Magnolia by Sanctuary Health Network in Wadsworth following a period of declining health.

Wildy was born June 20, 1934, in Murray, Ky., to Dewey and Agnes (née Bloodworth) Parker and married to his wonderful wife of 57 years, Carol J. McClintock, Aug. 11, 1962, at Moreland Christian Church in Canton. He worked for Standard Pool Cleaner Company in Canton for 20 years and then for Hinemann Saw Company in Canton for 30 years, retiring in 2001. Wildy was a member of Eastern Road Church of God. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He was a selfless man, always doing things for others, rather than himself.

Surviving are his wife, Carol, of Wadsworth; daughter, Theresa Green, of Canton; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Wesley) Rash, Jennifer Green and Steve Rice, all of Canton; and three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Green, Kenzie Rash and Kaylie Rash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Howard Parker; brother, Vance Parker; and sister, Frances Baker.
