Last month, Community Legal Aid, in collaboration with local bar associations, honored attorneys who volunteer through the nonprofit’s Volunteer Legal Services Program. Receiving the Summit County Volunteer of the Year award was Billi Copeland King. Copeland King has volunteered with Community Legal Aid since 2013, assisting clients with family law and consumer matters. Admitted to the Bar in 2008, Attorney Copeland King practices bankruptcy law throughout Summit County. She is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Cleveland Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, and ATHENA International.
