Taekwondo students, instructors qualify for nationals

Twenty-two students and instructors from World Champion Taekwondo in Strongsville competed in the 2013 Ohio State Taekwondo Championship, securing a spot in the national championship this July in Chicago.

Congratulations to Mahmood Algehim, Cassandra Amador, Christian Amador, Jake Baszynski, Fransisco Cervantez, Alan Farley, Bianca Gehring, Tyler Houghton, Aditya Jha, Elyas Mansour, Yacoub Mansour, Yousef Mansour, Jordan Mingus, Micayla Mingus, Grace Ryu, Keun Moo Ryu, Abrahim Sabieh, Mahmood Sabieh, Joanquin Simpson, Karlie Smick, William Song and Damion Workman.

World Champion Taekwondo’s owner and grand master, Keun Moo Ryu, was appointed to vice president of the Ohio State Taekwondo Association.
