STRONGSVILLE – The Strongsville Athletic Boosters will make a donation of up to $7,300 to Strongsville High School with the specific intent of covering admission costs for Strongsville students at home athletic contests (excluding SHS varsity football games, SHS varsity basketball games and OHSAA tournament events) for the 2019-20 academic year.

This is the second straight year that Strongsville Athletic Boosters is making this donation to benefit students in the district at both Strongsville High School and Strongsville Middle School home athletic contests.

“The Strongsville Athletic Boosters are once again pleased to make this donation, providing greater access to students for Strongsville’s home athletic contests. We look forward to large crowds and increased student attendance at all of our athletic events in support of our student-athletes. We encourage every Strongsville student to make an effort to attend at least one athletic event this year and cheer on our Mustangs,” said Dan Martin, president of Strongsville Athletic Boosters.

“Strongsville Athletic Boosters is an amazing support group for our athletic program. This donation is another great example of our boosters striving toward their goal of supporting all of our student-athletes and the many athletic opportunities offered in our district. We appreciate and thank them for their generosity and are hopeful that many of our students take advantage of free admission at many of the athletic events held throughout the year. I know our coaches and student-athletes will appreciate the extra support and attendance from students of all ages,” said Denny Ziegler, SHS athletic director.
