STRONGSVILLE – Eight members of the Strongsville High School Symphony Orchestra auditioned and were selected as members of the 2019 Ohio Music Education Association’s Northeast Regional Orchestra.

These students will perform with the best musicians from throughout northeast Ohio under the direction of a professional conductor at a concert in Gamble Auditorium at Baldwin Wallace University on Sunday, Nov. 3, at noon.

Harhay was also selected as a member of the Ohio Music Education Association’s 2020 All-State Orchestra. He will be performing at the Ohio Music Education Association’s Professional Development Conference in February 2020, in Cincinnati. Additionally, Shaffer was selected as an alternate for the All-State Orchestra.

This marks 17 consecutive years that the SHS Symphony Orchestra has been represented in the All-State Orchestra.
