With the NCAA’s cancelation of all athletic competitions, The Post Newspapers was forced to cancel its annual March Mania Bracket Challenge.

Due to the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic and the NCAA’s suspension of all its athletic competitions, The Post’s March Mania Bracket Challenge is effectively canceled.

NCAA’s decision to cancel the men’s basketball tournament was made less than a day after we sent to the printing press our March 14 newspapers promoting what would have been our seventh installment of this fun, community-wide competition.

It was not possible to update our front pages in time.

While the situation is unfortunate, as our readers have looked forward to playing and winning prizes in Post March Mania every year since 2014, we understand the seriousness of this unique situation and the NCAA’s need to suspend all athletic events that could have potentially put more members of the general public at risk.

We look forward to inviting you to participate in more of our great contests going forward – like our Goal Post Pro Football Challenge returning in the fall, among others – and we wish you all the best of health in these difficult times.
