As our Featured Guest Column today points out, it has been clear for nearly two years - well before the delta and omicron surges - that wearing N95-caliber masks indoors provides superior protection against the coronavirus than surgical and cloth masks. Both for the person wearing them and for others.

Apparently, there is a reason that the White House requires N95s to be worn when around the president and his family - even though staff are also vaccinated and regularly tested.
